hey, whats a good word for that? hilarious! great fun!
Elton John is my Arch Nemesis!!! Sometimes my nerves kick and remind me that I was put on this earth to destroy him. Side note ... whats with LaChapell's muse being a cocaine sniffering tranny..I mean thats cool and all :)
unspeakable.
(more of madame la mort over at shortsville)
Pricey.
A really expensive turd - with good lighting.
shalala!
german football legend g.netzer knows: heute ist discozeit!
david lachapelle + a lot of money + no oversight = this crap.
actually I've grown to like him a lot in the last few years and would rather see him try and fail on this than some most other directors doing their dark and too-cool-for-school video. He has a sense of fun missing from a lot of director's videos.
well i liked it a whole lot
Is this new? Why would they do a new video for such an old song? Greatest hits I guess. Anyways, I liked it. Suites Elton John.
It is a projection film for Elton John's live concert 'The Red Piano' at Caeser's Palace, Vegas - played on a 100+ft wide screen behind Elton and the band as they play the song.
Whoa! Totally missed this. Personally I'm not an Elton John fan, but this is classic LaChapelle. Excellent work. One of the best 'queer cinema' mv's I've ever seen, really. Sad it's topic is so depressing-but-true.
And no I didn't go for that short film..
