All that milk made me hungry for corn pops.
The Make-up is so funny. And the Cuts in the Video are funny, too. imho, this is crap. It all makes no sense.
Clunky and boring. I don't really think the ambilical chord motif works. It feels rather grungy and purposeless. I think something like the following would've helped:
-Venus flytrap girl awakes to find herself in a weird room.
-She struggles to detach herself from a series of techno like ambilical chords.
-As she does the room curiously begins to fill with a strange milky white fluid.
-Said fluid overwhelms her as she begins to drown.
-Flytrap girl notices the few remaining connected chords are the only thing keeping her alive (oxygen, etc).
-She fights to re-connect the (unplugged) chords to her abdomenal area.
-Final images of our girl completely submerged, sustaining only by her ambilical attachments.
I don't know if that's getting at anything but believe it would've helped enhance the thematics and visual span of said piece. Also could've given the whole thing more of a pre-utero feel.
photography, styling, edit, so much wrong here. ouellette's near unrecognisable.
