Horribly Bad Music Videos

These two music videos are just so horribly bad! They are "Take My Breath Away" by Jessica Simpson and "I Love Rock N' Roll" by Britney Spears. When pop stars do covers of great songs from the 70's and 80's, it just spells for disaster. I think there has been only one good cover of a classic song, and that is "Higher Ground" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The most horrible video of the year and the badest ever is the current single from Anastacia & Eros Ramazotti "I belong to you", I have no link for it, but I promise, it is worth to see.

actually: I like the Britney-Video very much. It's just - If she says she loves Rock N Roll I have to say: No, you don't. Years ago I did an mash-up video for the mash-up from Britneys track & Eminem, I thought this is the point where I should show this - done with simple quicktime-pro in bad quality, here it is DJ Hatari aka spreech "I love rock without me" video-mash-up -mov via YouSendIt ...

yeah! the britney one isn't that bad - of course it's a bit cheesy and not very original but she's a pop star, that's to be expected. It's well lit, and well edited I find.

Hehe sorry spreech, but Marty Callner is the standard-bearer (and originator) when it comes to awesomely bad videos. He did some good, entertaining stuff, but when it got bad, oh my God it was awesome.

How about, for fun, young Christina Ricci in Cher "The Shoop Shoop Song"?

Honestly, I'd love to see a Directors Label of Marty's stuff. It would be very fun.
