dir Philip Andelman for Partizan. He doesn't go for cutting edge, so I don't think we should judge him for that. Still, I didn't entirely get the video either, although it's probably better on TV. His new Fort Minor video is an interesting (though "All I Need"-lite, again fwiw) anti-war vid.

         

I think the meeting went something like: this song is boring. we need tits.

         

yeah too bad the song isn't very good.

         

This video had a similar concept but with less pretension/explotation.

         

jjurewicz, I think u might be right Though it might be helpful to the critical appraisal if the video codec did not die midway through the song in Quicktime playa, Also true when played in VLC and Realplayer

The song or its hook is a pastiche ov sum tune I think? I keep getting the word 'umbrella' banging away in my head for sum reason when listening to it

         

i love elefant but this song is bad and so is this video.

         

Dunno you guys, I like the song. However, I didn't like the video especially with the nipples scenes.

they are renaming the song because MTV will not air the video if it is called "lolita". They think it is kiddie porn. And they are going to cut the girl out.
