Revl9n "Someone Like You" dir. Johan Renck
I'm Johan's publicist for today. His latest is a bit bizarre.
Aw yeah, that's the stuff. Wicked. The lipstick and the nipples make it. And the black and white combo; very fashionable.
so is the name revlon or revline? the whole numbers/letter substitution thing is starting to drive me insane. it was understandable when david carson and kyle cooper (se7en) did it, but now everyone is just adding numbers to their name and there is a total disconnect between the sound of the number and how it is supposed to be spoken. as susan powter said, "stop the insanity!"
The band is Revlon 9. The tracks is actually pretty old so I would be confused if it was his latest video.
Their downloads page marks it as 2006..
Their site does say the video was made in 2006, but check out the discography. It was released as a 10" single in 2002 on their own label, Crushed by Heart.
Seems like they have a new album out, maybe it's on that too.
