Tunng "Woodcat", dir. Jan Urbanowski & Jethro Haynes
verdant backyard cgi for some uk neo-folk.
(fairly reminiscent of this - 3d's (finally) going organic... this was done by WeR3D)

I'm looking forward to the future when this stuff will be even more convincing. This was great, but integration is still an issue in places. I'd like to see it on the TV. I still like Ben Dawkins' integration best (Bogdan, Jimmy Edgar)..
what, no more comments on this? Warm weather's got me doing other things too, but sheesh this is such an exciting new sub-genre going on here.
Um. I don't understand what's new here. There are 3D creatures on a tree -- they mostly lack shadows and the lighting is off. Cute, sure.
Sub-sub genre, perhaps. As P said, the organic-ness of it. Turning real, living nature on its head. [I'm talking more about the idea here than the clip itself - we've got a long time until this stuff convinces me that it wasn't made in a computer]
I love those little guys. Cute, without being fluffy & simple in concept and execution. Okay, could do with a wee more work perhaps, but I got lost in it despite that. And thats the important thing.
