BOB DYLAN - Subterranean Homesick Blues : Dir. D A Pennebaker
.....Don't know why it's never been posted.
If it wasn't for DA Pennebaker and Kenneth Anger (among others), we wouldn't be here today.
And you know, Dylan is the king of kings.
possibly one of the all time best methinks, both for simplicity and cultural significance, plus ginsberg is a bald god!
This is boring. Where are the dancing bitches? Where's the wide-angle lens? I can't see how you guys would even consider this a video? And who is this guy? This sounds like music that my parents would listen to. Ew.
Look at him, he can't even spell. And who's that wierd, bald, gay guy in the background?
Two thumbs down. Bring me some Hype Williams or bring me nothing!
You would have done better to find the DVD of Don't Look Back. It has two versions of the video in it's entirety in the extras including an alternate version that's really quite good.
winchandpully, do us all a favour and remove all of your fingers with a cheeseknife so we never have to read anything you type ever again. Thank you.
Oh. I wish it was the full video. :(
This mov (just as the U2b link above) is a montage from Martin Scorsese's documentary "No Direction Home" (2005). It features excerpts of the three versions that Pennebaker originally shot.
