wasc? had to watch it again to remind myself why i'd posted it back then. this is very subtly sincere, with the little bits of quotidian emergency, the supercontrolled (yet perfectly relaxed) edit, the ever-so-slightly oblique camerawork all contributing to drive the song home. all that in a mere performance vid? that's pretty tight in my book.

I think this might be an instance of liking a video because you like the song or the band. It's good because there's nothing glaringly bad about it. But don't worry, this wouldn't be the first time people thought a video was cool because the song was Pitchfork-approved hipsterness. Example Example
