Of all Kylie's Tours I thought 'Showgirl' had the weakest stage set! I know she woz ill 'n all that so I'm not dissin' her performance jus the stage set n costumes

I don't know if its all to do wiv the feather costumes etc but it reminds me of the things I hated havin' to watch as a kid like Fred Astaire n Ginger Rogers, Oklahoma, South Pacific 'n bluddy Rodgers & Hammerstein musicals like that

Regardless of whether this is a good piece or not, I think a music video paying homage to another music video is sort of an acute idea that doesn't really mean much to the general public. If you showed this to a random sampling of 100 people, I'd be willing to bet that most had never seen the daft punk video, and of those that had, few would be able to remember many details. These is a cute inside joke for a select few. Otherwise its just a really well lit and choreographed gay video.

I see from wiki I only know one ov his vids 'around the world' coz they used to play it virtually non stop on Viva 'n I thought the vid woz an animation, so any reference made in this 'ere work has been lost on me
