Cappello a Cilindro - Il modo più geniale (Dir: Diego Lazzarin)
angry. that's what this makes me.
where did folks get the idea that you can wing stop-motion? who decided it's ok to just pretend to know how to do stuff (as though no one will notice)? how can you go into what is clearly a complex project and then just fart on your own production value at every conceivable turn? when will italy (particularly recidivous in all these respects) get its fucking act together?
no offense, lazzarin, but if you're going to put this amount of work into a project, why not first make sure (thru better planning, and lessons in stop-motion humility) that you're going to make it well? look what folks like adambiz are pulling off. what excuse is there left for this kind of shoddiness?
fuck's sake. (and forgive my french, y'all.)
I didn't think it was that bad, but yes a little choppy for sure. Nice sets and decent lighting and compositing also, which means more time was put into that then the craft itself.
But I do know what you're saying Progosk, thats why everyone and their grandma has done a stop motion video these days...but thats just because everyone and their grandma's dog's cousin and entire family have made a movie of some sort. I think it's because of the accessability of doing it these days that everyone does.
